10 sec at 10,000hp i,m sure they will blowaway the record might set a few new ones too! why not there does not seem to be an engine rule ,and after a few fatal accidents they will figure out how to control the boat at warp speeds maybe we will all benefit from their exploits after all i do enjoy watching a car go 330mph in under 5 seconds and we all thought that was impossible a few years ago......lets go NITRO

The truth is....

It's not about how fast a boat can go with how much horsepower.......

It's about how fast it can go with how little.......

Come on guys this is the 21st Century where efficiency over rules ridiculous excess.

T2x you need to go to a NHRA nitro race something to be said about Xtreme excess the pro stock cars fill your bill with more speed with less power but the crowd is waiting for a 8000hp automobile that makes your bones vibrate and vision blur as it goes by

Great....really..... not my thing...but great.

Unfortunately, your advice belongs on www.JohnForceadorationsociety.com..... not a boating forum.

Thanks

I agree with your first part . I would like to see the same weight and same motors to see who's hull is more efficient [faster .same thing :drink: ]

But I think the Ridiculous excess helps in selling boats

reggie is the king of the boating world, john force is the king of drag racing, every sport needs a self promoting elvis, i just thought it would be amusing to combine the two ....all we need are a few tv cameras rolling....freeze frame get the cameras ready

Alot of safety measures found on cars today is a result of auto racing and accidents resulting from it. Maybe the manufacturers should push the envelope and we may see good come from it.
