i cant really compare the two, lambo price ol and corvette price fountain..

you cant touch an ol for under 500 or 600k

it leaves folks like me unable to buy one.
well i guess i could go buy an old beat 37 that someone took the good power and out and hucked some used 500's in,
and now that would be in the same price range as a new fountain probably,
I think OL's are badass boats,,
I would love to have one,,
i would also love to have a lear jet,
an island in the bahamas,
a 150ft mega yacht with my own chopper on top with a 50 ft hatteras tender.. :drink:

Funny thing is I am not a 100% Fountain fan like you all think I am. I respect things Reggie does but yet I don't consider myself a fan of him or his company. Respect and being a fan are too totally different things. What class is Outerlimits racing in??????? Super V I hope. If I was praising OL I am sure it would all be fine right???? I know I can not make a bunch of JOKER RUNNERS understand and I guess from this I never will.

Oh yeah.... ya gotta have the Microwave! After all, it's on the option list. I can just see the wifey unit in the cabin preparing a Swanson TV Turkey Dinner in the Mic while crossing the Great South Bay on a Sunday afternoon around 5:00 PM. The angry husband is going head to head with his major competition: one of your and George's 21' Shadows with a single outboard. The 21' footer is hanging right there with the 38' V-bottom because the wife is screaming bloody murder every time they hit a roller! When you posted your reply I laughed so hard it took me 20 minutes to do a re-post. Thanks for the laugh! :p

NOt taking sides here, but, as someone stated above: isnt an Outer Quattro 39 "GTX" more comparable than a plain Quattro to the new 42PR. Both are sit down, wrap around, low profile boats. The OL speeds mentioned above are for the regualr Quatrro arent they? Also, the 39 GTX has a cabin.

I'm not inside but ... engines I hear are alchool burning long lasting dragster stuff (long lasting dragster speaking of course!!!) from Pffaf and they already rode the thing a couple times over 190 and might of bumped 200. Those #6's must love it...

Timing is the issue now for market impact to do it officially.

Fountain is just . . . plain . . . FASTER . . . Until proven otherwise.

It IS reality. . . . OL just has to figure out how they want to deal with it.
