Default Arizona Speed 575 upgrade?

Has anybody done the 575 boost kit? Ease of installation? Performance results worth the cost? Do you feel reliability is still good? Thanx for any input, Wrink

I liked the kit, had it on a 2001 hustler gained 3mph and rpm's went from 5150 to 5350 same prop. It however burns alot more fuel, and the front bearing in the supercharger will need to become a maintaince item. Also higher rpm means watch your valve springs...

Ask cowisl they have it on their Outerlimits. Around 675 hp pushes their rig to 93 on a good day

I would do it because it is only money. It is reliable and a good product other wise ASM would not put into priduction. I know a guy that apperantly picked up 6 mph from it. I have not seen the results yet but who cares. Step up to the plate and swing the bat baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr Wrinkles,
Read my post on technical Q&A thread "3.3 Whipple on a 575SCi". The answer is this is a great mod for this very conservatively tuned engine. It's the most cost effective 75HP you can buy. Stage 2 is to add an intercooler.
The 575SCi blower is a Holley/Weiand/Mercury 256. The Merc version uses a splined input shaft, unlike the Holley/Weiand street version that uses a keyed shaft.
Splined pulleys are now available from Teague Marine in most diameters.
Regards,
Steve

I will coe-a-size it for you. Turn the boost up to 19 lbs a side then add fuel to her till she stops detonation. Then just put some big wheels on the mini # 6's and hold it wide open till something happens. HAHA
