i would be towing with a 2002 dodge ram 1500 with 4.7. what type of gas would this motor run on. 91 octane? im still trying to decide what i really want to buy but before i do i will check with you guys first. a bunch of smart people on this board. thanks guys.

I think I looked at that boat in the mid 90's it was a repo at the time. It was out on long Island. One other thing look for some glass repair I think on the left side where you would but registration numbers it had a hole there.

I don't want to start any big issues just trying to help you out. Have the boat Surveyed. PS I bid $7000 and did not win it just stating the facts.

You will be OK to tow if very local. Your transmission will tell you when its time to get a new truck. (It will be lying on the road behind you, looking up.) Make sure you have good brakes on the trailer, and go slow. Its definately more than the truck can handle for more than 50 mph highway tows; and of course you are going to be over your legal weight limit for the truck, so kiss you insurance goodbye if you have a wreck.
