Very cool but I can't even imagine how loud it must have been in the room.

I've been in the garage area at Indy during the 500. Stood about 3 ft behind a car they were reving way up to check it on the computer. I litterally had to put the camera down and cover my ears. I thought my head was going to explode. That video is cool but does not give you the full affect of how painfully loud those things are.

ha! short stroke = way high rev limits!!!! stupidly light pistons don't hurt either.

i propose marinizing some older cosworth engines!!!!

and indy (turbo) cars are quiet compared to f1 cars... f1's will make your ears bleed in the good way....

are you sure that you dont have that back wards. I thought that indy motors had really small pistons, just a bit larger than a quarter , and I cant see spinning a crank shaft with 1000 Hp with a 3/4 inch stroke.

Cspray will know

short stroke is high rpm.... try spinning a 4" stroke 19k......

and puder is right, doesn't hurt that the rods and pistons are negative grams....
