I've been in the garage area at Indy during the 500. Stood about 3 ft behind a car they were reving way up to check it on the computer. I litterally had to put the camera down and cover my ears. I thought my head was going to explode. That video is cool but does not give you the full affect of how painfully loud those things are.

ha! short stroke = way high rev limits!!!! stupidly light pistons don't hurt either.

are you sure that you dont have that back wards. I thought that indy motors had really small pistons, just a bit larger than a quarter , and I cant see spinning a crank shaft with 1000 Hp with a 3/4 inch stroke.
