Actually, I was asking if you were kidding or serious about being a former PJ. I don't doubt that you get jerked a lot by the wife's friends! That goes with the territory!

What years were you are PJ?

No never. Two friends 1 SEAL, 1 Army Intel assigned to 10th SF Group. Both have worked with ST guys regularly. Thought if you overlapped, perhaps you'd know them or vice versa. Seems like a very small, tight knit world. But, you were before their time.

Great job- bad time to be doing it. Things got better towards the end with the changes in Washington. Totally different deal today. Quite a bit different job than the combat SF guys although there's alot of shared training and similar activities. They were the police, we were the firemen.

Army or AF?

I was at Bragg a few times. They used to do the paramedic training there.

I was just down at Ft. Campbell to visit at 160th SOAR. Things have changed. It took me 3 hours to get into the flight line and I had an escort the entire time I was inside. On the way down, I passed about a half-dozen 100 acre fenced-in fields full of cars. Alot of them covered with tarps. It took a second for me to realize they were on deployment in the gulf. It really hits you when you see it.
