Yes, Finally, and I thought he was a friend. Everyone remember this, and don't let friendship intervine with good common business sense, make sure everything is in order before you sign that check.

go get the boat and both of you work with the DA in prosecuting him for fraud which is what this whole thing was criminal not civil.
you should be the one in possesion of the boat

Call me Oliver Stone but I'm throwing out a conspiracy theory here: start a thread on OSO getting your "lost" boat amazing free press. Indulge the story with tails of fraud, scienter, and (ahg!) brokers. Then, detail a happy ending with a, "Hey, the Boat's for sale" punchline and whammo, you've got the best OSO Classified ever created. Just a thought. Anyway, Oliver Stone's a tool.

Hire a "Repo Man" to go get the boat---they have all the knowledge. tools and contacts to "git 'r done" with no risk to you.

I had to do that to get a farm tractor back and it worked great. Got it picked up and delvied to me for less than cost of airplane ticket to ge "try" and reason with the guy.

Yea,
Something ain't right here, how can he sell your boat, he doesn't have a title, your bank holds the title, is he going to pay off your bank?? If not how do you feel that you are getting out from under it, you still owe your bank the rest of the loan amount???

He's as bad as the broker that sold it to him with out a title if he tries to sell it with out one.
Go get your boat and then decide if you want to keep it or sell it. I don't get where you are coming from, what difference does it make to you if he keeps or sells the boat??You're still screwed!!

I think you've wasted a lot of peoples time that were willing to help you.

Hope this is not a ploy, talked to him for 20 minutes tonight and at the end I asked if he had got a call from someone from OSO, or read read the post. He said he didn't. His attorney had finally been able to convince the DA of Travis County, Tx., to prosecute the broker of fraud. And he decided to get this over with.
The boat will be up for sell in the next week, anyone interested? She's a jewel, with only 257Hrs on 525's, one moter had a valve job at 172 hrs and the other has about three hours since rebuild from overheating. On board ac, Gill select choice, cool water bypass, MSD ignition, Pyrometers, the list goes on. Too many upgrades to list. I had $110,000.00 in it and Nathen has spent another $12,000.00 on it. A 94 with only 257 hours on the hull and fresh motors, what a steal. He will be asking $65,000.00. Thanks all for your help and comments. TRichter
