I have a 7" Makita buffer and a 7" air buffer. I would rather use the air buffer because it is so much lighter. I also use a foam pad for normal polishing.The only thing I use a wool
pad for is compounding.

Yup schlegel (sp) wool mop with 3M orange heavy duty.. Wool bonnet with 3m finesse it swirl remover white stuff ..then foam pad the fill in glaze and cotton tee shirt it off.. Mothers carnuba the rest of the summer
