I am not sure about the waiting lists, but here is a start:

Occoquan Harbor Marina - 703-494-3600 (slips with lifts)

Tyme n' Tyde Marina - 703-491-5116 (rack storage)

Full Tilt Marine 703-492-2232

Prince William Marina - 703-494-6611 (rack storage, slips)

Captain John Beach Marina (703) 339-6726 (covered storage on trailer)

Hoffmaster's marina (703) 494-7161

I hope this helps.

Ty

Occoquan Harbor Marina. Ask for Stephanie, and tell her Brian Tillett told you to give her a ring.

I believe 38 feet is too big for Tyme and Tyde.

Prince William Marina may have a policy of only boats purchased there. They are a HUGE Sea-Ray dealer (nation's biggest I believe), and just took on Baja this summer, so not sure how far they will take you.

The others will be hit or miss.

Also, check with http://www.jamescreek.com/
I dunno how long their waiting list is. They are in Washington DC proper. OSO member farfrumwerken keeps his 38 Sonic in there, but I think you will only be able to do the inflatable lifts there.

If they are not wedded to the idea of keeping it on the Potomac there are a lot of marinas on the Bay that are about 45-60 minutes from DC. Let me know if I can help with some ideas.

Call Terry at Hamptons Landing marina, It's the only one close that will have a slip for a 38 and I think he has all his lifts up under cover now.

Tyme & Tide has a 33 foot limit and a five year wait.

Full Tilt doesn't have any docks any more and you don't want to us that ramp any more than you have too.

PWM only if you buy it there and Carlton HATES performance boats, he only has Baja because they made him sell them.

I can see Hope Springs Marina from my house and they have a brand new boatell they are trying to fill but I think they have a 35 foot limit, so if your 38 is a Fountain you will be fine (sorry I had to say it) they are at the 45-1 hour line away from DC.

It's hard around here with anything bigger than 33 thats why I live on the water now.

As long as its not 3PM-7PM any day, Thursday before a 3 day weekend, Friday, Saturday, raining, snowing, garbage truck turns over, tanker catches on fire or a cop has someone pulled over for no good reason!!!!
