I explained my position and he had a good arguement. There really wasnt anything he could do or say. What happened,. happened. I made alot of decisions based on Rays advise, was it all good for me ?No. .I tried to spend 13000.00 to 14000.00 with Ray just in parts. After All this it just took the wind out of my sail.I have two 750 -800 hp long blocks almost done.Im not real excited anymore.I still feel the same on some of my positions and he did appoligize for some. When I dealed with whipple the only poblem I had was one spark plug was shipped wrong. Who do you trust the man who answers phone or the man whose to busy ?Dustins hard to get on the phone.

Well,, given the problems with the 496 pistons,, a S.C. just isn't a option for me,,, i'm not willing to go that deep into the motor,, and I'm not interested in having to burn 93 octane, simple heads, and a cam for 75 HP on 87 seems doable.... I will be on the look out for this months family and performance magazine..

Still cant understand why the marine industry is afraid of fuel injection. It seems they like to go backwards.

More like most of them are not educated enough to understand how to modify an EFI motor or they don’t have the equipment to do so.

EFI is like some freaky Voodoo to us carburetor guys
