Does anyone have any good info on speedmaster #2 drives? I wanted to know the good/bad and how would the drives hold up with 550hp? Thanks for the help-

I've got some good info for you. Since parts for SSM 2's are no longer available you don't want to find out how they will hold up. You can replace those old clunkers with a set of Konrads. I'm sure I can get you a great deal on a set.

Lofty,

Is your buddy buying the fountain on ebay? This is the boat that I am wondering about. How much could you get the Konrads for? Thanks for the info.

Ahhhh. ooops. That's a nice Fountain, specially for the price! He's interested, we just talked about it a few mins. ago. Those #2's are in nice shape and seem to be well cared for. However, we where just talking about the cost of swapping them out for the Konrads. I'm selling full sets with gimbles for under just under $10k per side. That's with the new speedy lower and wing caps for external steering. I figure the SSM #2's that are on the Fountain are worth around $4k each so that brings the cost of the swap way down. If you're interested give me a call and I'll give you the full run down. The Konrads are a really good deal and you just can't break one unless you drive it into something.
