I just know that whatever you spent 6 months on was not effective, or we wouldn't be having this discussion.
I am not the internet police. I am somebody with a different opinion that you, who has been able to avoid using this kind of leverage over an OSO advertiser.
In any event....your thread is about using OSO as leverage against vendors. And that is what my post is about.
No need to run it by just me next time. Run it past the forum rules and stop on the part called "dirty laundry."
When you post a thread on a forum, you are inviting discourse from the membership. Sometimes people will not agree with you. Try to be strong. You can take it. Perhaps different opinions is the cost of choosing the tactic that you did. Oh well.
If you do not want discussion of your topic, don't post.
I have no problem with you.... and I do not even know Darin.
Please try to accept the fact that you and I have a different opinion without thinking that I am attacking you. I'm not.
If you are proud of how you handled this situation. Great.
It's your business anyway. (Isn't that my point?)
Good luck with your props. Have a great summer.

Shewbart, some of us agree with you. If someone would have sold my props........I probably would not have handled it as well as you did.
I am happy for you that it all worked out.

Yes. I understand.
So when you gonna post more pics?

Bottom line is in the boating industry, the business owners screw paying customers and we have no recourse except to accept the fact that we got ripped off. Because in most Cases they just close their doors and you are out of luck, your money, and at times even your boat. I praise OSO for letting us air out some bad business practices no matter who it be.

came to his OSO brothers as a last ditch effort. I've
done business with Darin back when he was getting
a credit card up front. I have to tell you that I was getting
a little nervous when a 2 week turnaround turned into
8 weeks. Maybe Darrin has personal problems, but
biz is biz and you have to take care of your customers.
If Darin has a different story, he should post his side.
I've found that OSO folks seem pretty reasonable.

And I think I hate you.
