I know one thing.. It would sound totally different with that type of header on a diesel engine in a boat no less!!!!!!!

I was told it still sounds pretty aggressive.
But think of it this way... you'd be able to run to block island and back on 1 tank of fuel... and cruise at 60 the whole way.
Maybe JC can port it and massage it a bit to get 500hp! :drink:

That would be nice. But I would rather drop the Boat in at the house in Shelter Island and be there in less than 30 minutes doing 80+. And still burn less than a tank.

:D

The engies come complete with standard stainless steel exhaust, 9 pin receptacle for merc harnesws. They are priced at 20k for the 300 less drives. The weigh approx 948 lbs.

Another neat feature about the engines is that the parts are available through the GM parts network so overall cost of ownership is significantly less than yanmar.

The Tigershark 400hp will be out this summer, and from what I hear from the factory it should be putting out about
700 ft/lbs@1800 rpm. playing with the idea of putting a pair in my scarab.

The factory also offers powdercoating and chroming on the components to give that tricked out poker run look.

ANy plans for a higher hp engine? Maybe a V10 or 12?

Storm

I do believe the future of this sport will turn to disel engines and two speed tranny's. Reliable it would be.. If they can build a drive to handle it.. I am anxious to see the new Konrad Shiftable drive. I am sure we will see it on here!
