I was seriously thinking of giving away my vacation $ elsewhere this year. But screw it ...maybe I can annoy somebody up there.

I know , Jon. I've been going there since 1953. One recent trip , my cover started to come unstitched at the top of the windshield. Went to Bayview Canvas on Alton Bay and they fixed it for nothing . Most people I've ever met there have been super folks.

I believe its actually a small group that would impose a speed limit ..And for thier biggest commercial supporter , "Merrill Fay" its financialy motivated. Lets not forget the Head of the NHDOT Marine Patrol says the law is completely unfounded and would be imposible to enforce with an already overstreched MP. Statistics put speed 5th or 6th on the list of causes of accidents. The worst part about it is that these zealots are so far over the edge theres no talking to them ..and they will continue with their crusade until something is done .

I agree with you. There only seems to be about six or so that are running around screaming "the sky is falling".

It is incredible to me for the chit that rubberhead Acres spouts that he gets to say anything about anybody, or anything, and fact has nothing to do with it. He just spouts his own self centered arrogant mindless opinion and just expects everybody to fall in behind him. I love giving egotists like that a good old "reality check". Uh oh, that could be construed as intimidation or a threat....

Believe me the rheterick spewed by those few infuriates me to no end.. But you cant have a serious discussion with people like that well your being handcuffed by an oversensetive moderator..who I actualy think is biased.. Hes canned plenty of my posts that were nothing but factual.. Ive come to the conclusion that you cant win over there..

Yeah, but it's still fun making them look stupid...... I realize that THEY don't realize it, but enough of their own Forum members certainly do.

"They" get rebuffed so often by their own members you'd think they'd get a clue, but with closed minded self centered arrogant egotists that will never happen. Zealot is the ONLY word that describes them accurately.
