As long as the marine patrol is not watching
We just use the Manatee Zones to get the boat stuff settled, put on sunscreen, etc. They are NOT stopping me from boating! PHUCK the $MC!!!!

Anyone in Florida wanting to "challenge" the Manatee policies should seriously consider joining the Citizens For Florida's Waterways. This is a very active, agressive boater's advocate group and their primary goal is the insanity over the Manatee. Check them out at :
www.cffw.org
I have been asked to start up a "west" coast chapter of CFFW which I am extremely excited about. Presently the east coast chapter has 3,000 plus members.
The Save the Manatee Club is VERY well financed. The only way we can battle them is with sheer numbers.
The Manatee has just been placed on the "to be downgraded" list, however, the FWC is tryiing a backdoor end around to change the rules so that they can over ride any Fed. decision and would give them the power to do as they please answering to no one. This is one that we are preparing to fight now.
It would be a great help if all Florida boaters would help us in this fight.

Russ,
I'm reading my CFFW April Newsletter, and page 11, I find an article about "Russ Snyder" who is eager to start the FL. SW chapter of CFFW!
Thanks Russ for stepping up and getting involved with CFFW.

Get to work on that boat! Did Mark finish sealing up the transom and the gelcoat work for the tabs last night?

Dean,
The transsom is sealed, he sanded and applied the Gel Coat last night. He will sand and buff this afternoon. His plan is to complete your work this weekend and I will take your boat back to his house Sunday or Monday if that is OK.
By the way, I will make sure that "OUR trailer is available! I certainly do not want HQ angry with me.
