what spark plugs for a 577 n/a 750hp eng?
i just finished the assmbly of my motors and was weonder what others in the 700+ hp range are running. thx for sharing, ratman

I run The NGK also 5671a-8 here.
I find them the best for Reading. I have my Electrode bridge
colored half way. My setup likes the last ring 3/4 way colored.
Which some may consider a little lean. I dont beleave in the insulators the unleaded fuel will color them. My first run I check right before secondarys open and of course WFO.
I had my friend in the cockpit video taping the gauges.
The last setup never went to dyno so tunning was critical.

There mk 4 bowties 4.530 bore 4.25 Stroke.
Sonny Bryant billet cranks Carrilos rods
Ross 7.8 to 1 Blower pistons
Cometic gaskets
Merlin Custom Ported Cast iron heads
Crane 741 Roller Straight up.
Timing 32 degrees Locked
Modified 850 Demons
Mooneyham 10-71,s overdriven 15% producing
10.5lbs boost at 5800 rpm
Richard Lee intercoolers with Whippile cupracores.
Cant help you with Dyno #,s. Wish I could!
Took a month of water testing and tunning.
I had to do everything from Boost referncing
to bigger accelerator pumps, Staggered jetting.
and most importantly PLUG READING.
Knock on wood They are pretty turn key now.
I hate to say I never leave it alone Im always checking everything. When we are all tied up just look for the guy with the hatch open its me. The red chest isnt sunburnt its header

i'm off to costa rica again mon, will dyno the 577 n/a's when i get back in aother week. will post the #'s as soon as they come off the dyno. ratman
