Who knows about Volvo Duoprop drives?
Looking at a boat that has Volvo DP drives. The drives each have 2-3 inches of "play" in them - you can move them that much side-to-side by hand.
Also, lots of zebra mussels in the openings and crevices of the drives.
How much to fix the steering (what is involved) and possibly sandblast/paint the drives?
Boat is a 1993 and I suspect nothing has been done to the drives other than normal maintenance.
