Happened on our old boat. You can get a new one from Mercury it comes as a kit-reservoir and seal. It is a 15min job to replace(once you can get to the pump). You just have to get to the bottom of the reservoir.

OOps, just reread your post. I just ordered a reservoir for my outdrive today. It was $70.

Bad news, single screw version is NLA from Merc. The fix from them is a new pump body and reservoir that attaches with 4 screws. We can sell the new pump complete for not much more than the kit.

There are a couple of billet reservoirs around.

Ive had real good luck fixing them with Marine GOOP. You have to take the reservour off, clean it real real good and seal it from the outside with the goop. You may have to do each plane (side)so it doesnt run off. Ive done mine this way and they havent leaked in years.

Thanks Guys,

I got an email from another board member, Aftermarket1, he had them available. Apparently Merc no longer offers the old type but there are a couple of aftermarket sources for them! $29.95
