Default Carpet glue

Does anyone have any insight on what type of glue to use to fasten new marine grade carpet to the sides of an older Outlaw cockpit . I considering using Weldwood waterproof contact cement. Thank You

3M super 77 or even better ultra 96. If you use either one make sure and use it right or it won't hold. Spray it on both surfaces and let it tach for a couple minuits then put em together and it aint commin off.

Just recently tried the 3m spray on a neighbors boat,, the carpet didn't stick very well at all,,, ended up peeling it back and using water proof contact cement from home depot..
