Twin, fuel pump, regulator, return line ?
#1
Can someone tell me if on a factory twin MPI or EFI setup if there will be two fuel pumps, factory regulators, and return lines? Or does the system run in series with one setup and return line back to the tank? MY question pertains to a 98 Scarab with twin 350 MPI's but I would assume most are configured the same.

My boat has MarinePower engines with Atizona Speed EFI. Each engine has it's own fuel pumps, filters, regulators and returns lines.
Not all EFI systems have a return line so it's engine.EFI specific regards fuel return line. In fact I think mine is the exception to the rule.
I think it's standard for each engine to have a low and high pressure fuel pump, regulator and filter.

Brian,
Assuming you have Mercruisers, you should have the "Cool-Fuel" system. This system only has one fuel pump, one fuel cooler, one pressure regulator and one return line (going back to the fuel water seperator, not the tank) per engine.

This is exactly what I have. what will be differerent with twins? I do have two filter assemblies.
Awesome pic, helps a lot. I have a line drawing from my research today. I am stuck and work and can't get my hands on the boat....

I think I may have misread your post the first time. Each of the components are per motor right?
