Thanks for all the info. guys. Stingray69 im gonna check the torque on those nuts, I bet that might do the trick, as i've never checked them before.

Dono, Keep those nuts torqued properly!! The cost on parts alone is UGLY! I am repairing mine as we speak. I went ahead and removed the complete transom assembly and replaced everything while it was off just for good measure. If i had kept a closer watch on those two damn nuts I would not be in this position. Lesson learned and not ever forgotten.

I take it you are a firefighter?? Would have never guessed it with the bright lights flashing on the truck facing me on your every post. I am a firefighter also. I am a member of a paid department of 69 men in Paducah Kentucky.

Yes im also a full time firefighter/ paramedic with Clinton twp. MI. We are a 85 member Dept. and growing by the day. I cant express how much i love my job, becoming a firefighter was one of the best decisions i ever made. Take care and be safe.
