Also remember that PVC does NOT show up in x-rays!
I ran PVC around my shop in the 70's. One exploded one day after just being bumped a little. That's how I know about the x-rays. They had to dig for the piece...

Glad everyone chimed in and convinced you.....compresed air is nasty stuff when it lets go ina hurry. I have a buddy who has his shop plumbed with PVC and I am scared for him.
