the manual (merc #23) sez 35lbs 502 MPI .. all bolts ... 12 short 4 long ... sez 30lbs for the 7.4 MPI ...

John , what is the source of your specs ?

124 inch pounds is about 10-11 Foot lbs ...big difference ...
