Default help..quickly please -- merc II cooler

hey guys

need help pretty quickly -- got a motor guy putting my boat back together -- he is not a marine person

motor is in ready to fire -- ive got a merc II tranny and trs drive -- on the tranny there are two water lines -- i'm assuming one goes to the rear port of the exhaust as an exit -- but where does the inlet line go to?

this is a new motor and i don't have any of the old stuff for reference.

thanks for a quick reply -- i need to call him so i can have my boat back!!!

Mine has a line from the the outlet side of the raw water pump, through the cooler and then I exit it through a trru-hull fitting to see water flow.
