Has anyone tried running the oil up the inside of the rod? Seems like you could use less oil that way.
|
"Pin oilers" are good for getting oil to the wrist pins, but wouldn't be much help in cooling the pistons.
Additional question, does anyone run piston oilers in a NA application? |
14 apache,You can verify with BLP,I would suggest .040...then coated pistons (ceramic domes and teflon skirts) and DLC pins...Lube Tube rods may be worth considering also...Pulling just that much more heat out...A four gallon oil tank is another cooler/deaireator.
Ben,with your vacuum, .040 should work fine...Verify with BLP....add volume to the pump ...I have the BLP fixtures you can borrow. |
