I'm considering a boat w500efi's and Vortech SC's. I just needed some info on what to expect.
The boat also has Imco upgraded XR's on ITS boxes.
Thanks for any help.

Badkachina, that looks nice all polished!
Cashbar, which engine/kit? The black one like above or the HP500EFI (blue). In either case, find out what pulley is on the blower and what injectors were used.
The black one with stock injectors is good for about 570 HP. The blue one with 50 lb injectors is good for about 725 HP if the right pulley is used. You can make 725 with the black one too if you change some things.
With bigger intercooler and better airflow you can make 800 HP but you need to go UP to do it...These engines are also in front of IMCO drives and ITS. So far they are standing up to 760-780 ft-lbs.

Pros-
More HP
Greater top speed,
Lower cruising RPM due to bigger prop.
Cons
Possible broken drive
Burn more fuel since you want to have the hammer down but would be less at cruise.
Slower or the same takeoff as before (prop will be bigger but you do not gain much HP or torque at low rpm to compansate for larger prop)
As someone's tag line is, "Once you go blown you will not go back"

Thanks, thats pretty as well. I need an air cleaner made that will fit with with my headers (lightnings). They are too big to fit the Vortech cleaner on there so AZSM rigged up a little screen. I guess its ok, not like theres much dust on the lake but it's something I would eventually like to fix. Any ideas?
I could have gone with more boost since I changed the injectors, fuel pump, regulator etc and had the ecm redone but I wanted it to last.
Turbojack - It's slower out of hole, harder to get on plane, too much throttle and it breaks loose, once on plane the midrange and torque is awesome though. Breaking drives sucks, XZ now, when that goes I'll have someone beef up the upper for me, maybe Mr. Gadgets or Max Machine Worx.

Thanks for the answers, here is a link to the boat. I believe there are engine pics that might give some more info....

'02's(like OSO's) were side-by-side setups. The cockpit was a little bigger, which I like.
I do like the boat, and apparently the guy was a good friend of Skip Braver so all upkeep has been carefully monitored or done by Cig. just can't get enough info about long term care of the motors after I would purchase it. They were redone like 20 hrs ago.
