According to the performance marine big block chevy book, it says to upgrade the flame arrestor since the stock one is very restrictive. Plus i like the shiny ones. I measured the old one, and it is a little over 2 inches high, so i'd be looking to get a 10 x 2 or something of the sort. I've seen K&N advertise an arrestor, but i don't think in a 2 inch. I've also seen some sold from Livorsi and C&P Marine on the net. Any of these you would recommend that might give me a couple of horse?

Doubt you'll get a couple hp, but I bought the CP and it was "shiny".
