Default vent holes

On a 14 1/2 x 23 omc sst 3 blade prop would drilling vent holes behind each blade for a better hole shot help enough to make it worth my time? If you think it would what size holes should I drill? Thanks Denny

Default Re: vent holes

yes venting your prop will improve holeshot just make sure the holes are drilled in the correct place ,just behind the leading edge of the blade. hole size to start with should be 5/16 & try if you feel the need for more drillout to 3/8 do not counter sink the holes leave them sharp
