Problems W/ Alpha One

Just Purchased 1988 Wellcraft Nova Spyder / 350 Mags. Port Prop Is Rubbing On Gear Case, Does Any One Know What Would Cause This.

Note: Spacer Between Prop And Gear Case Is Installed. Is There Just One Spacer Or Two.

Also The Engines Are Fresh Off Rebuild With Some Engine Mods, Nothing To Crazy. I'm Guessing Maybe 300hp Each.

Try swaping the spacers from the other drive to se if it clears then.....the spacers are made of a soft material...brass....and could wear down and need replacement.....if that dont work i would look at your prop to make sure its correct for your application

spacers? I assume you are talking about thrust washer?
Try swamping props and see if it is the prop.

Yes he is referring to the thrust washers.....being that he called them spacers i had a brain fart and couldnt think of the term for them! :p

gl, if you take a look at the thrust washer when you remove it theres a beveled edge on the inside of one edge.....that mates with the Chamfer of the prop shaft when puting it back together.....just so you know :)

Does the prop have a machined step at the gear case side?

It should look like this........
