IM Haveing Problems Of Water Getting Into Cyclinders,I Replaced Head Gaskets On 525sc 80 Hrs Ago,i Just Found Out That I Might Of Adjusted The Valves Slightly Wrong, meening My 454 Book Says 3/4 Of A Turn After No Play,i Just Found Out The 525sc Is Only 1/2 Turn After There Is No Play,on Top Of All That I Also Found Out The Engines Had 50wt Oil,not 20/50.with These Problems Could It Cause The Valves To Stay Open Enough To Suck Water Back In??i Did Change The Oil Back To 20/50 And Am Going To Redo The Valves This Weekend? Thaks For The Help!!!!!!!!

JJones the cam adjustment alone I'm sure can't causes this but check your exhaust and make sure your not getting water in through the manifold . Good luck Laz
P.S. also when you take the valve covers off check in the back of the intake to see if you see any water marks or rust the intake can be leaking back there.
