Looking for Hyd Steering
WTB
Hydraulic Steering, or even extra components if you have them. WPM, Imco, or Marine Machine. Trying to save a few bucks here and there on a rebuild. Thanks in advance :) |

Re: Looking for Hyd Steering
Sorry,
Bravo External steering Thanks |
Re: Looking for Hyd Steering
Are you looking for the the complete unit from the helm back, or just external & still use your existing cable. I have some some new Imco units that I need to move cheap!!!
|
Re: Looking for Hyd Steering
Assist only.
Reading page after page, leaning towards a single ram system. Only a 21 ft boat, space to mount the rams is the biggest factor, and don't wanna be to tight if using dual rams (yeah yeah, I know, full to the helm :D  :D). |

Foutainatlast: Do you have just rams? If so email me [email protected]

Fountainatlast,
I need some parts to convert my steering into full hydraulics. I already have the IMCO dual rams installed. However, I'm using a cable up to the helm. I want to convert to a full hydraulic steering system. I need the tilt helm, lines, resevoir. Thanks.... |
Sorry guys, is it just me that sees this post was two years old?
:D |

:D I was just about to IM about the "cheap" IMCO system....I guess I'll have to put it back on my Christmas wish list...LOL.. |
I googled Imco and they show the single-ram kit for around $100 cheaper!
I am also looking to put external steering on my boat this winter. Do you guys think a 22 footer needs dual ram or will single do the job just as well? |
