Default Bravo 1 XR or #3 drive

Hi guys. We have a 29 foot single engine mono hull boat at 3900 pounds with 950 HP megablown 510 inch Merlin engine. It has a #3 drive with a B & M trans. We where thinking of going to a Bravo 1 XR drive to save weight. We run at 100 MPH now but are not sure weather a Bravo will handle the power. Can anyone help. Thanks from New Zealand

Keep The #3 . As long as you can. You don't need to join the Bravo breakers club. You could probably sell the #3 and have more than enough for a Konrad conversion. Just did this on a friends boat. The best drive for the money by far. BBB
