Amen!!! for Bob at Marine Kinetics
This motor will be back together by the weekend and I will post Bob's findings and what we think we've found out. The only thing I'm going to change is the cam and bearings, so if that fly's We'll know for sure what went wrong and what it did to the motor in a 10 hour time frame.

When you spin the distributer gear do you feal any notchiness or does it feel smooth. I had a gear failure caused by the shutter hitting the pickup inside the distributer. Changed to MSD and haven't had a problem since.
