Default freshwater to saltwater conversion

A friend of mine is thinking of buying a freshwater 29 scarab with twin 350 magnums. How hard (and how much) is it to install a closed loop cooling system? Also what other mods should be done before running in saltwater. It will be kept on a lift. Also anyone know a marine surveyor near Kansas City.

Thanks in advance!

I did that very modification on my 454 Magnum. I got the kit from Mercruiserparts.com . I think it was about $1000. Real easy to install, only took a couple of hours. The best part is that it fits on my new 540 that I built without any problems.
