After just one night in the Ft. Laud water, the new sportmnasters on the Fountain are discolored and streaked. How would I remove this ? The boat is to be delivered to a new home asap and needs to look it's best.

I take WD-40 and a Scotch Brite type pad. Takes a little bit of time, but I think it looks great.

What causes the discoloration??? Heat build up in the outdrive??
