Well I have over 100 hours on my Holley's, still pumping very strong regulated down to 6 lbs, but they are mounted lower then the tank they are always wet!! (with fuel). that may help!!

P.S. I would run 1/2 iinch lines now because if you are like the rest of us boaters you will add more power sooner than later!! goes with the territory

I use the weldon 600 pump. I only have about 80 hours on it so far, but it has worked perfectly. Runs silently and weldon said that they have one on a test stand that has been running for over 2000 hours continuously with no problems. It looks good too. On one side it has some Japanese writing on it, I asked what it said and they told me "made in America". Not bad pricing either, about 375.

Where do you buy Weldon pumps?

What are the specs for the 600 model?

Having the fuel pump below the fuel level is a requirement for these pumps to live. They simply are not able suck the fuel up out of the tank. The problem is that mounting them low like this is very clearly a Coast Guard violation. You can not create a situation where the fuel will have an opportunity to siphon out. Having the pump low in the bilge creates this situation. The best solution would be to mount the pump in the tank. Aeromotive might have a in-tank pump, but I'm not certain.

I run a holley black marine with a return style log with built in regulator. This allows any excess fuel to return to the tank. Has worked great for 3 seasons. delivers 5 gallons in 2 minutes 20 seconds at carb height. Pump mounted in bilge.

Dead head regulators seem to kill electric pumps in short order and dramatically reduce their fuel delivery rates.

I am using a gaffrig fuel pressure sender and guage.

Been using a Holley Black for two seasons with no trouble. With the rep of Holley I suspect I have been lucky thus far. I plan on replacing it this winter as part of PM. Anyone using the Aeromotive SS?

Should be a good product.

Should be a good product.

A buddy put one on his jet boat, lasted about 16hours. They did repair at no charge however.
