Default no bow lift

hello everyone has anyone got any pics or can anyone give me detailed info on hook maby show tell me exactly what hook is and how i might do away with it. my 27 footer isint gettin the bow up and i think this might be my problem ... ...any info would be greatly appreciated....cheers

More info please. What is hull/boat make, year, etc. This was a common situation with the 7' beam hulls of the 70's and early 80's. The builders tried to build into the hull what K-Planes could do at will later. If you really like the boat you can straighten the hull, add K-Planes and go on loving it for years. --- Jer

Did ya try a prop that has a lot of cupping? That gets the bow up fast and clean usually. It's a good place to begin.

Hydromotive made a "Turbo" prop that was cupped bigtime with a big hub for Bravos.

You might look at these spots. Some manufactures might also put them into other areas. But this will give you an idea where to look.

thanks guys the boat is a 27 foot fletcher zingaro with a 300hp vm motori @ 3800 with a zf63a and a fixed LM 17 surface drive 17x23 with some cupping and a large blade area doin 46-48mph depending on the wind.it seems that the harder it blows the harder it goes . due to the price or sp props my bank balance doesent let me change a lot but if i could get the loan of a prop to try i would pay the shipping costs back and forth and would be more than greatfull im really desperate for help on
