Amsoil Products

I'm quite happy I started this thread, there seems to be some good info. I do run AMSOIL in my dirt bike and have had zero problems, was thinking about possibly running it in the drives, Seems a few of you like Mobil products also.

At least with Redline you get a heftier ester content for the 9 bucks if you decide to spend that much.
Mobil-1 Extended Goldcap products are $ 5.45 in 5-qt containers at Wallyland as well. That's a good value.

Re: Amsoil Products
Having said all that... Amsoil 4-cycle oils are generally good and they get better as the price goes up. They range from $6.00 to nearly $10.00/qt.
All are better than conventional products for certain.

i don't see anything above $9.00
amsoil motor oils
most were $8.75 and down with 25,000 drains.
although ii would'nt go that long
usually 15000 to 20000,

.....hold your horses..I edited my previous remarks too...I was off a buck..sorry
...and ... I have advocated using $7-$9/qt oil as I do regularly...and you do get an added benefit from the stuff too.

If you guys really want the best try Swepco. We have been using now for over a year. less friction and wear on motors, hp increases and no engine problems. Nortech is using it exclusively on all their motors, no failures. It really is that good.
