Whippling a 454 mag?
I have a 454 mag (1997) with carb. Daydreaming right now, but I was thinking about a whipple charger setup. I'm looking into the the universal EFI kit since it sits low (nothing above the blower) and would have a better chance of fitting under the hatch of my 22' Donzi classic.
Anyone gone this route? Is it worth it?

Re: Whippling a 454 mag?
I put one on my carbed 454 mag in a 24 Outlaw. Went from 61 mph to 77 mph. I did pull heads and installed better valves, used studs for heads and better head gskts. Ran it hard for 3 seasons with absolutely no issues.
I also have Fuel injected Whipples on my 509's in my 36 Outlaw and they are nothing short of awesome for power and sound!! I have mild motors and they make 775 hp and 840 ft lbs torque.
