well a cpouple months ago I was pulling a drive off for routine maint.and it would not release from the coupler. my certified Merc guy also could not remove it.
Since boat was running well and I was only 1 day away frome Smoke on the water I left it on.
\Ran Smoke and then another run on lake michigan and a lot of just plesure boating.
well I finally decided drive has to comere off before Key west run
woulfd not budge so out cam sawzall and I cut through coupler and shaft drive slid right off and I remove motor to look at coupler bolts in offshore mount when loosened came out easily so motor had not moved
got off couple no rut and was full of greas pulled out plug from back of coupler got a drift and was going to try and pound out before moving to arbor press the shaft frickin slide right no rust no twist I had installed drive and alighnment weas perfect
any Ideas on why it was stuck
also anyone got a Bravo input shaft they dont need?
