Default good upholstery shop in SE mi?

my Fountain has pretty good upholstery for a 15 year old boat, but there are a few spots on the trophy rack and back seat that need some fixing. Need a couple of spots re-stitched and a couple of small panels replaced (tearing by the stitching). No $$ to redo everything, and it doesn't all need redone yet.

Anyone know a good shop in SE MI to do that kind of work? I'm in the mt. clemens area.

sleeper dave I think I have a name and number of someone that can get a good quality deal for your interior.
His name is Louie he lives @ 10 harper in scs.
His number is 774-7595 when you talk to him tell him Tom gave you the number i talked to him today .
I want a complete interior and I want it to look updated. much like the fountain..

Be interested to hear how it turns out - I've got some work that could be done on my 96 Powerquest (nothing real bad, just 9 years of wear and tear).

I have a guy downriver that's done some nice work for me. Small shop, but full service. Dee's Upholstery on Jefferson in Trenton. (734) 675-5799

Get your stuff to him soon so you'll have it in the spring... seems like everyone waits until march, and gets pretty crazy around then.

Good luck,
Brian

I used Louie to redo my engine hatch. It was a tri-color with a roll and pleated pattern. He did a nice job. I'm not sure we used the best choice in vinyl although the colors did match. His workman ship is good. He is a retired upholstry guy and millwright from Chrysler. The only thing I would suggest is determining a firm price. My price changed after he got into it, but it may have been a ligitimate add.

He lives right off of 10 Mi just east of I-94 on I think Culver.

Louie was considerably cheaper that the canvas shops around New Baltimore.

I learned of Louie from Davies Boat Canvas on the Clinton River. Davies made mooring covers for the Sunsation Factory. I also had Davies make me a mooring cover several years ago. When I went to Davies for my engine hatch he told me that they do not do that type of work, and recommended Louie.
