How does the NGK UR5 compare to this and what is the difference as well?

Friend of mine has been using the UR5's in 588's with 14-71 blowers and they have been great other than one engine starts hard every now and then. Once running they are great, hence being curious if he would benifit from a different plug.

Thanks
Jon
I've been running the UR-5 for the last three seasons. They work well and do not foul.

Thanks good to know...........his engines run flawless.
It's just the one that starts hard now and then, but it only seems to do it when the engines are totally cold.

If they have been run, then they fire instantly.

Thanks
Jon

I was told with NGK plugs the higher the number the colder the plug. So a UR-4 would be hotter, opposite formula of other plug manufactures.

He runs 93 octane in his set-up though.

yeap street stuff is in the 6-7s ,8-9 is real cold, also depending on the projected tip or non for long idles

I did run the R5674-6 and 7s in my Chevelle,on nos I put in 8's.No I run the R5671A-7 on 93

The Camaro I run the Champions C57CX and C59CX on NOS only

My old Scarab blower motor I ran the 8s in it. never loaded up.

The Hustler Whipple motor I run the AC42TS it was on the edge of hot with the boost turn up on race gas ,fine with 93
