Default 7.4L Hesitation

I have had a hesitation in the engine since start of summer. Most noticable when getting on plane after first starting the engine (although I idle until the temp gauge reads normal). Tried burning out most of fuel and filling up with fresh, and adding dry gas, then replaced plugs. The cap and wires were replaced last year, so that's not it. Should note that I did not fill the tank fully at end of last year and may have used too much stabilizer.

Any suggestions???? Is it the gas? Thanks for any suggestions.

try changing the filter or filters in the carb. and I have also seen mud bees or what ever build a nest in the tank vent, make sure that is open.

I had the same issue with my last 7.4 with the great ole Weber Carb. Ended up being the choke was not opening up all the way.

How old's the carb? Sounds like the accelerator pump.
