#1
What kind of finish should my machine shop be putting on my cylinder bores and how do you go about doing it?
I had Total seal gapless top rings and now going to a plain moly ring... what kind of techniques do you pro's have to get it right??
Thanks
Dick

You also may want to open the second ring up some more. Piston companies are finally writing some tech about this do to findings in ring flutter at mid to high rpm and the HP loss it can cause. Going 25% larger on the second ring helps to control flutter.
