Default hp/500,s and pro chargers

Im thinking about buying a cafe racer with hp 500,s . Boat runs a solid 70 mph. A little slow for me but the boat is beautiful. How hard and what kind if any mods would have to be done to install pro chargers to thse hp,s . I want an 80 mph boat . But I want reliability as well. I think this is a good plan . The boat has new paint , new bravos, new trailer , and new hp,s ....new interior. Its just a little slow ..

If your talking about the same Cafe I think you are talking about, ask the owner. He had another cafe with prochargers. Carbed 454's with prochargers=77mph.

yes thats the boat . Good point he would be the one to ask !!!

Do you guys think this is a good plan ?
How about wave jumping , will the procharger slow down on reentry ?Or will I have severe drive failure ?

HP500 is a perfect engine to supercharge. Were they rebuilt recently, by who and what head gaskets? These engines will make 800 HP with an Rtech system but your drives are not going to be happy. We recommend the Konrad 540 drive. I think you can get them with the transmission in the extension box, but the guy to ask is Biggus.

Maybe more speed and money than you were looking for but a reliable combination in an older boat. Good luck.

If you are looking for an 80 mph reliable package, Tom's R-tech system along with a Konrad sterndrive package will provide many seasons of trouble free boating.

Konrad has a new package that shares the same dimentions of the Merc ITS system (motor stays in stock location) Trans is located in the extension box.

If your heading to the Miami show, look us up. The new system will be on display in our booth.

I'd like to add a very interesting fact about the Konrad product.

Since we entered the performance boating market two full seasons ago, we have experienced ZERO sterndrive failures with over 100 installations under our belt.

I can't thing of one competitor that can come close to this achievement.
