coming up on my slow time of year so looking for winter projects......

If you are going to brag about having the best diagnostic equipment available you are going to have to do better that a modis and rinda handheld. Sorry.

THAT IS THE RINDA SCREENS


The best diagnostic system ive used in marine have used the merc spx also but rinda is a much better system!

Those are a couple screenshots of Rinda's Diacom EFI software combined with secondary ignition voltages from a PC based engine analyzer (SPX/OTC Vision Premier).

Any "state of the art" diagnostic system will be PC based. This allows you to simultaniously display and record output from multiple sources (in this case just two sources but I am adding a PC based 8 channel thermo logger). The PC based system also has the advantage of being able to store and display service manuals in PDF form.
