I just picked up my new (used) 2001 Scarab Sport 29. It's got twin 225 Mercury Optimax's, and I have a few questions:
Where is the fuel gauge located? There is no dedicated gauge on the dash, and I've cycled through the speedo/tach digital gauges (2 tachs and 1 speedo, no other gauges I can find) and can't find the fuel level (though I did find gph). I've also tried digging around near the tanks, but still can't find anything. Does anyone know where the gauge is? If there isn't one, what's the best/cheapest/easiest way to install one?
Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for my boat? I'm particularly concerned with the connections from the batteries to the panels and to the engines. I want to make sure it's wired correctly.
My throttles (from Mercury) are somewhat stiff. If this is a somewhat easy fix, I'll do it. How can I tell if the problem is with the throttles, the throttle cables, or something else?
Thanks in advance for all of the (I hope) helpful advice.

Thanks for the quick response, but I am actually more concerned about the back of the boat (the thicker wires running from the batteries to the panel to the engines), rather than the dash.
Also, as I have a basic membership, I can't open the images. Can you either send me a link or forward them to [email protected]? Thanks.
