I have a 94 and it was originally rated at 330HP. I am sure this was at the crank. I think they changed the rating in about 98.

I know in 1997-90 the Scarab's 454 had a 330 hp ,The mag was 365hp at the crank.

I believe the 420hp was older than 97.
