Re: SS Competition Gauges and bezels????

Thanks for the compliments guys. We're just trying to keep great gauges at a low cost for the masses.

The connectors are .250 spade style. Most just cut the terminals off their wires and replace them with female 0.250. You only loose about 3/8" of wire but you have a cheap new terminal that will have "new" electrical contact.

About the hour meter. You can not rotate these (desined on purpose). What I doo is keep my old meters for reference.

Hope this helps

Bob

Will the gauges work with stock mercury sending units?

Thanks Bob! I ordered new bezels and a new steering wheel today as well. Can't wait to see my updated dash.

Yes

We designed them to work with the Mercury standards.

I'm not exactly sure how the hour meters work, but I would think that you could just hook them up to a 12v power source (battery charger or something) and let them run until they got to where they needed to be. If you have 240 hours, let them run for 10 days just don't forget about them.

Bob, would that work?

Yes it would...about 6 days worth though. FYI generally they work off the 12v to the ignition system.

Which rocker switches do you have? Most of the carling type switches have caps on them that are easily removed and replaced.
