i seized my eggbeater an have alum melted on the cyl wall
i was told muratic acid will remove it. is this true or is there a better product? thx ratman

Yup it works. Depending on how much you have on there it can take some time but I have done it a few times. Used a mild scotchbright. Don't forget to cancell out the acid when you are done. It will also go after your block so you want to be carefull.

Works very well on Niskel(sp?) coated aluminum on motocross bikes. I expect equally good results. Ditto on getting the acid out.
